Thank you for everything. We are so honored to work beside our staff and volunteers on the front lines, in risky conditions, getting food, hygiene, bus passes, utility assistance, laundry services and clothing out to the many thousands of people who come to us hungry and in dire need. Our volunteers and staff are angels among us, each and every one of them, and although we thank them daily, we want to thank them publicly for their hard work, sweat and yes, tears! Day in and day out, 80 volunteers and seven part time staff give their heart and soul and unbounding energy to feeding, clothing and providing the most basic of life’s necessities to the thousands of people in Spokane who arrive at our doorstep. The extent of need in our community is unfathomable, and at times overwhelming. But every bit of work we do toward eliminating poverty and helping to create a better existence for our folks, is all made possible by you, our donors and our advocates.
